The Kwara State Government has reaffirmed it's commitment to digital transformation in the health sector.
The State Commissioner for Business Innovation and Technology, Hon. Damilola Yusuf Adelodun made this known while delivering her goodwill message at the Kwara Digital Health Summit held at the Ilorin Innovation Hub, where she commended the organisers for creating a platform that aligns with the vision of the Executive Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. According to her, the state under Governor AbdulRazaq has continued to welcome forward-thinking initiatives, especially in healthcare, recognising that technology is now a necessity.
Hon. Damilola highlighted this present administration’s openness to embracing digital tools and innovations that improve healthcare delivery across the state. She noted that the future of healthcare is tied to technology-enabled systems such as digital medical records, telemedicine, health data analytics, and advanced monitoring tools.
