OUTING AT LANDS BUREAU STAKEHOLDERS ENGAGEMENT

On Tuesday, April 28th 2026, the Branch Chairman, ESV Tosin Kadiri FNIVS was a special invited guest at The Stakeholders Engagement on Fair Market Value [Blue Book] organised by the Lagos State's Lands Bureau.

The Permanent Secretary Lands Bureau Mr. Kamal Olowosago was the host while The Head of Service Mr Bode Agoro HFNIVS was ably represented at the event by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure & Waterfront Development ESV Wasiu Olayinka FNIVS.

The Estate Surveyors & Valuers Registration Board (ESVARBON) was represented at the event by The Registrar ESV Janet Shehu FNIVS & Past Lagos State Branch Chairman & Past Vice-Chairman of the Board, ESV (Pastor) Stephen Jagun FNIVS. Also, in attendance was a past Branch Chairman ESV Dotun Bamigbola FNIVS.

Asides, members of the public who were invited the progam, there were quite a large number of our members in the private sector as well as the Lands Bureau and Lagos State Valuation Office who graced the occasion.

The new Blue Book which is reviewed every 5 years is a revised Fair Market Value (FMV) framework for land transactions processing in the bureau aimed at improving transparency, accuracy and ease of doing business.

We look forward to more collaboration and cooperation between The Very Branch and Lands Bureau.
