But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
Psalms 3:3
My dad would never let me walk with my head down and my shoulders slumped. "Don't forget, son, that you are a Ware. There's nothing wrong with that. Even when things are bad, you are still my son and God's child." God looks out for us and is proud to be our Father. Because he loves us, he gives us glory. We don't walk around with our heads down and our spirits down because he is our Father and gives us such good things. He gives us the victory in the end! Even when things look bad and it seems hard to win, God still loves us. Our Father paints the sunsets and keeps the stars in their places. He guarantees our future. How can we be sad when we think about this?

My Prayers
I thank you for all the various manifestations of your handiwork that I see in nature, O God of glory, majesty, and might. I thank you for creating the laws that keep our universe under control. I thank you for Jesus's atoning work on the cross. I therefore lift my heart, hands, and head to you, O God, and thank you for your grace and glory. In Jesus's precious name I pray. Amen.
