In 1952, he became a member of the Reformed Ogboni Fraternity in Ondo State, part of Nigeria. He became a wizard and in 1953 also delved into magic. He had even risen to a higher rank in the Rosicrucian sects (AMORC). He had read and mastered many occultic books before he encountered the saving grace of our LORD Jesus Christ for his total salvation. With God’s leading and direction, his evangelistic ministry started in 1977 when he founded the Christian Counselling and Deliverance Ministry. Later, the church arm called CHRIST LIGHT ASSEMBLIES INC started. The ministry and the church were duly registered with Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria.
