MEDICAL & EVANGELISTIC OUTREACH
Isoko, Ejigbo | Osun State

When the gospel meets compassion, lives are transformed.

The annual medical and surgical outreach to Isoko community, Ejigbo, by Zion Mission University Hospital was carried out in July 2025 in conjunction with Peace Rural Missions.

By God’s grace, we were able to minister to both the physical and spiritual needs of the people.
“Jesus went about doing good and healing all…” — Acts 10:38
Over 500 people received medical care during the outreach. The eye unit attended to 126 patients, with 95 eyeglasses and medications provided. In addition, 31 surgical procedures were successfully carried out.

Beyond medical care, the gospel of Jesus Christ was clearly preached. Men and women were prayed for, hearts were opened, and many were encouraged to turn to God and walk in newness of life.

We are grateful to God for the privilege of serving and for every hand He used medical professionals, missionaries, and partners who laboured tirelessly.

This is why we go: to show Christ’s love in action and to call men to salvation.

At the heart of everything we do is one burden that men and women would turn to God and walk in the light of Christ.

Peace Rural Missions exists to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to rural and underserved communities, calling hearts back to God and raising disciples who will live for Him. Alongside the preaching of the Word, we serve communities through free medical and surgical outreaches, maternal health care, education support, portable water projects, and discipleship — as expressions of Christ’s love.

By God’s grace, we have seen lives touched, hearts softened, and men and women respond to the call of salvation in remote villages and communities, schools, clinics, homes, and even across borders, the gospel has been preached and people have chosen to follow Christ.

This mission is about eternal transformation. Programs are tools, but the goal remains the same that people would know God, be restored to Christ and walk in obedience to Him.

In the coming days, we will be sharing highlights of how the Lord has been working through our mission journey. We invite you to stand with us in prayer, partnership, and purpose as God continues to draw men to Himself.
