Happy Valentine From the Omofela's đđ
If you know you don't have strength to run around the house with your baby, please choose your husband with caution.
If you are the easy going type, please don't marry an active man because if you do, you will give birth to a very active baby and when you do, you will understand better what a completely changed life means.
I am grateful for my own very active baby, we go diggar am well wellđđ

We were taught that love is enough.
Real life taught us otherwise.
Marriage needs love, yesâbut also patience on hard days, honest conversations, forgiveness after hurt, teamwork during pressure, and growth through change.
Love is the foundation, but intentional effort is the structure.
Marriage is not sustained by feelings alone, but by daily choices.

You see this girl eh
My side chick
Even her mama nor fit jealous her
Everyday, as she wakes up like this from the bed
She dey give us joy
And from that moment onwards
Her trouble don start
To clean her mouth na gbogodo gbagada
To administer her drugs
(Cold liver oil, Abideck etc)
Na war
Na me and her mama know this one
To bath her na another hustle bustle
From using her leg to slap the water in the bowl
Scattering it everywhere on the floor
To using her hands to slap the same water
Which make everywhere full
To feeding her her food
To telling her to open her mouth
To petting her to swallow it
To dressing her up
To the most crazy part
(Combing her hair)
Nna eh!
Nor be small thing
We dey face everyday
Cos her wahala too much
But all the same
HER WAHALA NA GOOD WAHALA
We love am like that
Everyday, everywhere, everything, every time

Are We Raising Leaders or a Lost Generation?â
As a teacher, I canât help but wonderâwhere did we get it so wrong?
This generationâour Gen Zâhas shown a level of ill-mannerism, disrespect, and disregard that is alarming. Many students today have no iota of respect for their teachers, and sadly, we see this reflected in the steady decline of academic excellence and moral values.
Is it the internet? Social media? The embrace of Western cultures? All of these surely play a part.
But letâs be honestâsomething deeper is missing. We lost our sense of community.
There was a time when it took a village to raise a child. Back then, your neighborâs mother could correct your child, and children grew up learning not just from their immediate family but from the community at large.
Today?
We all want to raise our kids aloneâforgetting that weâre not really alone. The internet, peers, and influencers are helping raise them too (and not always for the better).
A neighbor sees your child misbehaving and looks away: âWhatâs my business?â
Teachers in private schools dare not raise their voicesâthey might be reprimanded for âyelling.â
Parents, exhausted after long work hours, opt for gentle parenting even in moments that call for firm correction.
But I ask:
Is the world truly becoming gentler?
Or are we raising a generation too fragile to handle lifeâs realities?
Remember: These children are our future. What we tolerate in them today is what will define our society tomorrow.
So I ask youâwhat kind of future are we really preparing for?

Dear Working Wife, You Are Stronger Than You Think! đȘ
To Every Working Wife⊠You Are Doing Amazing! đž
Letâs be realânobody truly educates us on how to combine the complex roles of being a wife and building a career.
If weâre honest with ourselves, every working wife has, at some point, felt like the weight of these responsibilities is just too much.
You get home after a long day at work, exhausted, only to realize thereâs nothing for dinner. You drag yourself to the kitchen, cook something up, and just when youâre about to relax⊠Oga finishes eating and is already asking for âthe other foodâ. đ„Ž
Be honestâhow many of us have secretly thought, âIn my next life, please let me come as a manâ or even had some wilder thoughts? đ Sis, donât feel guilty. Youâre not alone. Weâve all been there.
But hereâs the truth: God has given us these great responsibilities because He designed us strong enough to handle them. đȘđ
I remember when I was still singleâI used to think full-time housewives were lazy. đ But now? I realize every woman must choose what works best for her home. Whether youâre a stay-at-home wife or a working wife, the ultimate goal is the same: to run your home with love, excellence, and peace.
If youâve chosen to workâor circumstances give you no other choiceâremember that Godâs grace is sufficient for you.
The Proverbs 31 woman shows us that it is possible to do both and do them well:
âShe rises while it is still night, provides food for her household, considers a field and buys it, with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard⊠her lamp does not go out at night.â (Proverbs 31:15-18)
She was a wife, a mother, a businesswoman, and a homemakerâand she excelled because she relied on Godâs strength. âš
So as we reflect this weekend, hereâs my word for you:
đž Celebrate yourself.
đž Encourage yourself.
đž Remind yourself of the special assignment God has placed in your hands.
You are doing better than you think. đYou are a Proverbs 31 woman in actionâstrong, resourceful, and anointed for this season. đ
đ Tag a working wife to remind her how amazing she is! Letâs lift each other up.

Dear Young Lady: Preparing to Be a Wife Is More Important Than Preparing for a Wedding
After finding âMr. Right,â many young women get carried away with the glamour of wedding preparationsâthe dress, the flowers, the aso-ebi, the pictures e.t.c.and forget to prepare for the real journey: becoming a WIFE.
We spend so much time planning for the wedding day, but rarely sit down to reflect on what marriage truly entails.
The truth? A lot will change as you transition from being a single lady to a wife. And these changes require wisdom, maturity, and intentional preparation.
Here are some areas where life will change when you become âMrsâ: 1. Your priorities will shift
Youâre no longer living only for yourself. Youâll now share your time, plans, and even emotions with someone else.
2. Youâll carry more responsibilities
A peaceful and loving home doesnât happen by chanceâitâs built daily through patience, sacrifice, and understanding.
3. Communication becomes a lifeline
Youâll need to listen more, speak with kindness, and sometimes choose peace over being âright.â
4. Serving your home and spouse
Whether itâs meal planning, finances, or emotional support, your role will expand.
5. Your relationship with God matters more than ever
Marriage will test and grow your faith. Stay anchored in prayer, because youâll need grace daily.
A good, peaceful, and loving home is not magicâitâs the work of a prepared woman.
So dear sister, while youâre picking out wedding colors and bridesmaidsâ dresses, take time to prepare your heart and mind for the beautiful but demanding journey of marriage.
What lessons are you learning as you prepare for marriage (or wish you knew earlier)? Share in the comments.
5 months of pure sweetness, and those little legs deserve all the love! đ
Tiny toes, adorable rolls, and gentle massages from Daddy â building bonds one rub at a time.
