Divine Era Development and Social Rights Initiative (DEDASRI) stands in solidarity with the Network Against Child Trafficking, Abuse and Labour (NACTAL) in strongly condemning the disturbing incidents of sexual violence reported during a recent festival in Ozoro, Delta State.

No cultural event or social gathering should ever be used to justify violence, abuse, or the violation of human dignity, especially against women and girls.

We echo the urgent call for:
✔️ Swift and transparent prosecution of all perpetrators
✔️ Immediate support and protection for survivors
✔️ Strengthened enforcement of existing laws
✔️ Increased community sensitization and accountability
