Burkina Faso Takes Controle over Its Gold and Minerals 🔥

Burkina Faso 🇧🇫 just established its first gold refinery in after taking control of its gold mining sector and setting up a domestic production facility.

The nation proudly introduced its first homegrown gold bars, refining 142 tonnes of mining residues to extract 93kg of gold.

This milestone has generated 100 direct jobs and 5,000 indirect jobs, boosting local employment and economic development.

Burkina Faso now refines 99% pure gold and earns $1,200 per ounce, a major increase from the $300 it previously received under France.
