I had a scary thought today. What if the internet stops working? No Facebook, no WhatsApp, no TikTok. People wouldn’t know what to do. Businesses would stop running, and families far away wouldn’t be able to talk. Everyone would feel alone and confused.

But as a Backend Software developer, I know something important keeps the internet running smoothly. It’s called a SERVER.

Think of a server like a big brain that stores and sends information whenever you need it.

When you open a website or send a message, the server makes sure it gets to the right place.

If all the servers stop working, the internet could break down. That’s why Backend Software developers work hard to protect servers from problems like crashes, hacking, or power loss. We use backups, strong security, and smart systems to keep servers safe.

So, next time you send a message or watch a video, remember, just that servers are always working in the background to keep the world connected.

But Meanwhile,
If the internet ever goes silent, perhaps it will remind us of a deeper connection we’ve forgotten, and that is the human connection, and more importantly, our need for God's unshakable presence, something that no outage can break.
