Happy birthday to me!

The devil attempted to kill me early in life. Failure used to be my second name, to a point I wondered if God was lying to me with all the prophesy that I would be great in life. Looking back today, all I can say is that God is too faithful to fail.

My mother’s death in my final year on campus was the biggest tragedy of my life. At some point, I almost lost my mind. It was so hurtful, but not just that, she was the breadwinner and my backbone who just believed in me and would always do anything to see me succeed.

When I ask God why, He only said; “I took away your crutches so you can walk on your two feet.” I was more angry at God’s parable that meant nothing to me at that time. Today, it all makes sense as I never knew what it means to trust God absolutely as my source until my mother died. That experience forced me into maturity 😊. God is too faithful to fail.

Many boasted that I was too ambitious, he would soon crash, and he would soon create a mess. Some felt they were doing God a favour, bringing me down, but every step they took either gave me a free advert or was a stepping stone to a greater door opening. This my God is too faithful to fail.

Many wonder why I am too straight and too direct! Some want me to package things and make it cool 😊😁. Packaging is good, but being authentic and true with your story is better. But one person who is too faithful to fail is my Maker. Father, I have come on this birthday to praise you.
