2. ELIGIBILITY
Applications are only open to candidates who scored a minimum of 160 at the 2026 UTME conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), and chose the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, Delta State as first choice of university or have completed the procedure for change of their universities of first choice to Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun. In addition, each candidate must possess at least five O/L relevant subjects at credit passes in the SSCE, NECO, GCE or NABTEB examinations at not more than TWO sittings.

(2A) QUALIFICATION FOR DIRECT ENTRY
Recognised Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees quality assured by either NUC, NBTE or NCCE.
Note: There will be no Direct Entry consideration into the following programmes: Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Petroleum Information Management, Entrepreneurship, Procurement Management, Microbiology, Biochemistry and Petroleum Chemistry.

3. AGE LIMIT: In line with JAMB Policy, only candidates who would be 16 years and above by 30th September 2026 are eligible to apply.
4. SCREENING FEE: The screening fee is the sum of N2,000 (Two Thousand Naira) only.
5. REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
The registration form is mandatory for all eligible candidates to complete for the screening exercise.
 Candidates are required to visit https://utme.fupre.edu.ng
 Click “Generate Invoice” for Post UTME to make a payment of N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only.
 Enter “JAMB Registration Number” to complete the application form.
 Use a PASSWORD that can be easily remembered as the same will be used to access screening results and confirm admission status.
 Use a mobile phone number with which you registered with JAMB.
 Preview the completed online form for confirmation that all information provided is correct.
 Thereafter, click the ‘SUBMIT’ button and print out the registration confirmation page.
