*SCHOOLS RESUMPTION AND EMERGENCY CHALLENGE*

Congratulations to all our people as schools resume today 18/01/21 to round off the 2020/2021 first term. The almighty Allah will be with you all and we pray that Allah will stop this covid ravegging the world.
May I use this opportunity to call on all parents and teachers to adhere strictly to all covid laid down guidelines such as, social distancing, handwashing, Sanitising hands regularly, facemask etc. As strict measures will be taken into action.

Once more I wish you all a wonderful resumption as we promise to work seriously to protect all the children and staffs in the school.
Am also using this opportunity to call on all Parents that are yet to pay any out-standings to use the opportunity of the first week to quickly pay to the school as Mid-term Continuous Assessment will be carried out immediately and students will be sent back home as from the beginning of the second week.

*2020/1441AH SPECIAL EID GREETINGS FROM THE LOFTY OFFICE OF THE PROPRIETRESS REMI ADEDOKUN MEMORIAL ACADEMY.*

The Proprietress, Mrs. Adedokun Fausat Aderoju sends her festival greetings to the Muslims, Muslimats and entire REMDOM eminent people on this ILEYA FESTIVAL.

She felicitates with Muslims as they celebrate 2020/1441AH Annual Feast.

She urge them to use this period for reflection as demonstrated by father of faith, Prophet Ibrahim in his life time as he fulfills promises he made with his God.

The Proprietress calls on Muslims to pray for Nigeria and the world at large as COVID-19 pose threat on our lives and economy.

Mrs. Adedokun prays that we shall see the end of the pandemic soon.

Mrs. Adedokun appreciates the support of all REMDOM members; staffs, parents, students, assistants and well wishers for her administration, she hopes that recent breakthrough in re-opening of schools will make this year's festival glamorous as against the lockdown anxiety.

*PTF Daily Briefing: Update on School resumption for Every Teacher, Student and School Owner*

During the Presidential Task Force Daily briefing for the 22nd of June, 2020 which was just concluded, the Secretary to the President and Chairman of the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha has given an update on school resumption and he has conveyed a very important message for every Scholar in Nigeria.

Mr. Boss Mustapha stresses the surge in the confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country and how the Federal Government is trying to do something about it. Boss Mustapha says that the number of confirmed cases has reached 20,000 overnight as more than 400 cases were newly discovered.


This surely will have a great impact on the resumption of school activities in the country. He says that what every scholar should know is that school will resume following the re-opening of local airports and interstate movement. He says that the delay in the re-opening of these institutions now is that the managements are still planning an effective way to safely re-open without compromising the lives of anyone.

There is a very high possibility that inter-state movement which was formerly scheduled to open on the 19th of June, 2020 will be open very soon as there are good news flying around that Nigerian Scientists have developed a vaccine which will prevent every Nigerian from getting infected by the Novel Coronavirus. This update was given on TVC news this afternoon.

So, since there is a vaccine which has been tested several times and it proved effective, there is a relief that everything may soon go back to normal especially students going back to their various schools.

According to Boss Mustapha during the PTF briefing on COVID-19, every student, teacher and school owner should be getting prepared as the date for the resumption of schools nationwide will be announced soon. Though, currently there is no fixed date for that but soon there will be.

Every student is enjoined to start preparing for resumption and cancel the mindset that the long holiday will still be for a long time. The holiday is over; make sure you are prepared because the school calendar will be rushed so as to meet up with the lost time.

Only few schools which meet the requirements for re-opening will be allowed to open. The requirements are yet to be announced but, we already have idea of what some of it may be and it is very mandatory for every school owner to make sure that they provide some facilities that will help to safeguard the lives of their students like, running water and alcohol based hand sanitizer, so that they will be allowed to open.

COVID -' 19 PANDEMIC : A STUBBORN SIEGE!!!

This virus could be simply described as a siege that only Almighty Allah can remove, it has never meant good for this nation!

Those that were affected directly are medically taken care of and are very few in number compared to financially affected millions who are battling with what to eat since there is no way to work and get something for their families!

This virus has rendered many people beggars, many have lost their children to untold hardship, many have been subjected to unprecedented humiliation in the hands of their colleagues who do not feel the pangs of hunger because they are salary earners receiving alerts as and when due!

The private school owners are languishing in hunger with no hope in sight! The parents,who are salary earners, instead of paying their outstanding are filling their store with assorted foodstuffs and nobody knows when they receive alert again -wonder will never cease happening!

The willing parents are either into businesses which are not coro friendly -nobody to buy such items now! While the food stuff sellers have exhausted the little one they have before the lockdown to the buyers -what an irony of life!

The proprietors are not beneficial of palliative neither from government nor from good samaritans; now if this siege is over and this yolk is broken, would these same parents, as usual, come and beg the schools and tender excuses for their inability to settle their outstanding?

How on earth would somebody be bold enough to give unnecessary excuses? The teachers are there begging the schools to give them whatever even just #500 while the proprietors have become beggars!

Now, who are the friends of proprietors among the aforementioned?

This is a calling to those who have the fear of God at heart to remember their teachers and proprietors now, give them something out what you owed them even if you do not owe them anything, pay them, it'll be minused from your load by resumption; these people have considered you before, keep them now as a friend in need is a friend in deed.

The Lord of proprietors will not forsake them, they will get over this seemingly unsunmontable problem very soon. Their Lord will loose this bo***ge soonest and they will regain their freedom and emerge even stronger!
