Take the impurities out of silver and the artist can produce a thing of beauty.

The value of Precious stones like Gold increases with the degree of Purity. The purer it becomes the more valuable it becomes.

The material goes through a refining process that ensures that the impurities are removed to increase its value. This is also true of a believer.

The worth and usefulness of a metal depends so much on its purity. This is why the metal has to go through the process of purification to make it valuable and useable.
This is a natural process that applies to our lives as believers.

God is on the lookout for men and women that he can use and make a showpiece on the earth. God can use anything but then the degree to which he will use us depends on the level of our purity.

Whatever defiles you disqualifies you for higher levels of usefulness.
