DOGGEDNESS
EPH. 3:12-14
I press toward the mark for the prize of the calling of god in christ Jesus. (Php.3:12)
Irrespective of the bad economic situation ongoing in the country right now,the word of God encourage God's children not to give up.

The journey to success is not often bumpy. There is no jolly ride to success. We are bound to encounter a lot of challenges as we pursue our dreams. Our reaction to these challenges would determine if we would be successful or not. In short, success goes to the rugged.

Apostle paul explain an important success principle in philippians 3:22-14. "Not as though i had already attain,either were already perfect: but i follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehend of christ Jesus. Brethren, i count not my myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind,and reaching forth unto those things which are before,I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Jesus."

He admonished us not to channel our energy to the challenges we encounter as we strive for success,adding that we are to focus on the goal before us irrespective of the hurdles we come across.

Like paul, we must continue to press forward no matter the barriers that comes our ways. We must hear in mind that nothing good comes easy. So, whatever we are into, we must keep pressing on even everything around us is dissuading us , wanting us to give up on our dreams. Wen just need to be tenacious in our drive for success.

Jesus christ illustrated the important of perseverance in Luke 11:5-10, stressing that as we aim for higher height, we have to keep pressing forward, regardless of the obstacle that are placed before us. We should keep searching,asking untill we achieve our goals. Jesus christ demonstrated perseverance in the course of his mission to reconcile mankind to God. Apostle paul thereafter counselled, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;who for the joy that was set before him endure the cross , despising the shame ,and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.(Heb.12:2).

Success is not for the lily-livered; it is for those who will always dust themselves up despite being thrown to the ground. Successful people will pick themselves up notwithstanding the number of times they are defeated. They will always bounce back. They have something in common-perseverance. Their never -say-die spirit will always keep them going untill they are triumphant.
