BREAKING: PDP National Secretary Samuel Anyanwu and ADC National Publicity Secretary Bolaji Abdullahi are currently at the Supreme Court for the hearing of the cases relating to the leadership crisis rocking the PDP and the ADC.

On the ADC, the Supreme Court is scheduled to hear an appeal filed by ADC National Chairman David Mark, who is involved in a leadership dispute with factional ADC National Chairman Nafiu Bala Gombe.

Mark is asking the court to grant an order staying the ex*****on of the Court of Appeal’s judgment delivered on March 12, which dismissed the ex-Senate President’s appeal in relation to the ongoing leadership dispute in the party.

The Supreme Court will also rule on appeals connected to the PDP’s internal leadership crisis. The cases were filed by the Makinde-backed Turaki faction challenging earlier decisions of the Court of Appeal delivered on March 9.

Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau, the former Governor of Kano State, has formally defected from the PDP to the APC.
