North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has delivered a blunt warning to the international coalition, stating that any harm to North Korean citizens currently in Iran would prompt North Korea to immediately enter the conflict. He emphasized that the safe return of his citizens is “non-negotiable,” effectively introducing a nuclear-armed wildcard into an already unstable regional crisis.

The warning follows rising tensions after Benjamin Netanyahu, prime minister of Israel, referred to Iran as “50 North Koreas,” highlighting the deep ideological divide between the opposing sides. Meanwhile, geopolitical pressure continues to build. Spain has agreed to cooperate with the United States after facing heavy trade tariffs, while Qatar remains under a state of emergency with gas production halted.
