These are the 3-Step Strategy I teach my clients to turn their WhatsApp into a sales machine without being a "spammer":
1️⃣ The "Teaser" Method
Do not start with the product instead start with a "Hook."
That is you saying something that is enticing and curiousity driven. Example 👇
Bad/salesy: [Picture of Bag] - ₦20,000.
Good/curiosity-driven: "Wait till you see the bag that almost caused wahala at the warehouse today! 😍"
This makes people want to tap to see the next slide.
2️⃣ The 1:3 Rule
For every 3 product photos, post 1 piece of "Behind the scenes" or "Customer Love." Show us you packaging an order or share a funny "Vendor Wahala" story. This keeps your WhatsApp status engaging, entertaining and at the same time relatable. People buy from people they like and relate to.
3️⃣ The "Single Action" CTA
Now, you have to stop assuming people know how to buy. At the end of your slides, put a clear instruction: "Only 2 left. Tap the 'Message' button to claim yours now."
This 2026, stay ahead of your competitors. Stop working hard and start working smart. If you employ these strategies, I promise you'd see a whole lot of difference in your WhatsApp marketing.
