CAC Grammar School, Akure — i3 Campaign Stop 7 📍

There’s something about legacy schools.
You walk in and feel the weight of history
rules, routines, and reverence.

But buried in all that tradition…
were students who felt like they were *still waiting* to catch up with the times.

At CAC Grammar School, it wasn’t that they weren’t smart.
They were.
It’s just that the world around them was moving fast —
and they hadn’t fully *caught the wave*.

Tech still felt distant.
Like something for people “out there.”
Not them.
Not now.

So we started simple.
Not with coding.
But with mindset.

We told them:
“The future doesn’t ask for permission. It’s already happening.”

You want to be a teacher?
Learn how digital learning is changing education.
You want to be a journalist?
Your voice can go global with the right tools.
You want to lead?
You’ll need digital wisdom to serve this generation.

We weren’t there to change their identity
we came to upgrade their perspective.

And something broke open.
Not in a loud way — but in that quiet, thoughtful shift you see behind someone’s eyes.

They got it.
And that’s more than enough to start a fire.

Something is building.
We're not just doing school visits.
We're reworking mindsets and we’re not done yet.

Koretimi joined the Machine Learning Track with prior experience in frontend development using HTML and CSS. What he was truly seeking, though, was the opportunity to channel his curiosity and passion for tech into something more concrete. While he could learn from YouTube videos, he craved more—he wanted guidance, mentorship, and a roadmap to navigate his journey towards tech expertise. 📚💡

His commitment to self-development was undeniable. Koretimi gave his all to every assignment, consistently asking for textbooks and extra resources to go beyond the basics. His punctuality and eagerness to learn stood out, making him a model student throughout the camp. ⏰🎯

By the end of the training, Koretimi had gained valuable skills: he could use Python frameworks to build simple games, collect and visualize data with Jupyter Notebook, and even created a house price calculator using Streamlit! 🖥️💻

But perhaps the most significant takeaway for him was a clear mental roadmap for his tech journey and access to our community of mentors, who will guide and support him as he continues to grow in the tech space. 🌟

At AlmaPario, we believe in the future of young people like Koretimi. With the right tools and support, we know he and other young minds can create innovative solutions and improve upon existing frameworks. 💡✨

We are AlmaPario, and we are here to empower young minds to invent and innovate. 🔑🌍
