🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨

Federal High Court Remands Justice Crack In SSS Custody Over Alleged Cybercrime
Popular social critic and online personality, Justice Chidebere, widely known as Justice Crack, has been remanded in the custody of the State Security Services (SSS) by a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.

Justice Crack was arraigned on a three-count charge bordering on alleged cybercrime, breach of public peace, and felony offences. During the court proceedings, he pleaded not guilty to all charges filed against him.

Counsel representing the SSS, Mark Oruba, urged the court to keep the defendant in custody, citing concerns about public security and the sensitive nature of the allegations.

However, the defence team opposed the request, informing the court that they had already received the charges and would be filing a formal bail application later this week.

Presiding judge, Justice Joyce Abdulmalik, subsequently ordered that Justice Crack remain in SSS custody until May 25, when the court is expected to commence trial proceedings and hear the bail application.

According to a statement released on Saturday, May 2, by the Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel Appolonia Anele, Justice Crack was arrested following a controversial social media post involving complaints allegedly made by soldiers concerning poor feeding and welfare conditions.

The Army further claimed that investigations revealed the influencer’s interactions with the soldiers allegedly went beyond welfare advocacy, accusing him of attempting to incite discontent and unrest within the military system.

The case has since sparked heavy reactions online, with many Nigerians debating issues surrounding freedom of speech, military discipline, and cybercrime laws in the country.
