DIY Moving Tips: Packing your Sofa.
When moving your sofa, the material of the sofa is crucial. Your sofa may be Leather or cushion, Single or multiple seaters, straight or L-shaped. Regardless of the texture of the material or the colour of the fabric, proper care must be employed to ensure that the sofa isn't damaged during your move.
In this video, we have an L-shaped sofa that we wrapped.
Step 1:
Separate the L-shaped sofa into 3 separate pieces.
Step 2:
Get your moving blanket and cover one piece at a time. We used 2 blankets per piece. Ensure that the moving blankets completely cover the sofa piece.
Step 3:
Use a Stretch wrap to fasten the moving blanket to the body of the sofa. Ensure you stretch it tight to ensure it is firm. Wrap it from side to side and from top to bottom.
Step 4:
Repeat the process for the other two pieces.
