Preparing For Marriage

It was a normal day. A normal Sunday in 2017. I got to church (Experience Church in the United States of America), and I was seated in my Sunday School class. Then the teacher stepped in and informed the class that the topic for the day was "Being Born Again". She explained what it meant to be born again and how much God loved us. I then understood that my own good deeds could not save me and I felt happy to be loved by God.

My teacher told us how simple it was to be a part of God's family, and that all we had to do was accept that His Son Jesus had died on the cross for our sins. She told us that if we believed it and confessed it then we would be saved. So with faith in my heart, that was what I did: I spoke it out loud. A number of us said the prayer that day and that was how I accepted Jesus as my Lord and saviour.
