I have heard, seen and at times mediated over some shocking scandalous flaws revolving around some preachers characters basically the ones titled "PASTORS".

Some of these scandals involves practical dubiety, scam, bridge of trust, borrowing and quoting scriptures to excuse payback etc.

When such notorieties comes to the open, you will find men with same tendencies in defence of such gross moral failure by using phrases likes "God knows them and still calls them", "They are called of God, let Him handle their case", some even outrightly invoke the immunity clause of "Touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm".

As a Pastor for some years and a Preacher, this excusable concepts for gross indiscipline and moral decadence gives me concern which birth the following questions

(1) Who are the called? are all that carries bible and form a church the called?

(2) Who are the anointed that should not be touched?? Are they the same that flaws the moral laws, constitutional and ethical rules? Does the anointing makes one lawless??

I must confess, its really an era of apostasy and great fallen away. Things are happening under some religious attires that shocks to the bones.

If godliness cannot produce common morality then its practitioners will criminalise His Grace.

So, what is the basis for genuienty?? Its not fine preaching and big bible. It is the richness of Gods word in a man that's all encompassing. When a man is sent by God, he speaks the word of God and one thing the word does is to sharpen ones character.

There must be fruits met for repentance. If you carry bible and live like an untamed dangerous man out there.... then, you will need to be BORN AGAIN.

I think current day preachers need to be BORN AGAIN more than those "street girls and boys".

Next time someone with a religious robe messes with you, family or business, forgiveness is matured but if lawlessness is becoming a lifestyle, a rod of correction isn't a bad idea.

Titles must not tie our collective society down. Its our collective responsibility to make this earth a safe place.
