Neither give place to the devil. Ephesians 4:27

The devil does not have the right to step into your life to do anything unless an access is given to him. The devil can only come when you allow him.
Most times people blame the devil for their situation, but in the actual sense they allowed the devil. I have learnt not to blame what I allowed, I only take responsibility.
Other people blame God for not stopping the devil from doing harm to them. But, God is not to be blamed. The devil had access to do what he is doing because access is given to him. It is like a lady blaming a man for impregnating her after she allowed him to have access to her.
Friend, you have divine authority to either allow or disallow the devil from having access to you and all that concerns. Just as the devil could not touch Job until access was given to him, so also he cannot touch you if he is not allowed.
What you say and do, how you manage your emotions, where you go or don't go, how you respond and react to issues are ways you are allowing or disallowing the devil into you life and affairs knowingly or unknowingly. Therefore, allow the Lord to guide you and be discreet in what you do and say so you can keep the devil away from you.
Remember, DO NOT GIVE PLACE TO THE DEVIL. You have that authority.
