It was an interesting experience for staff of HSCL ACE 3 and SANHDEF as they recently received life-saving instructions from security experts on how to survive in hostile environments.
The 3-day hands-on training on Hostile Environment Awareness was facilitated by Beacon Security and Intelligence Limited at the Velodrome, Moshood Abiola International Stadium Abuja from June 2 through June 5, 2025.
The training featured basic first aid, personal awareness, organizational safety, fire emergency and survival strategies in hostile environments among others.
Highlights of the training include practical simulations for fire fighting, self defence and other emergency situations.
The Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) has equipped the staff with much-needed knowledge and skills to survive in the type of environment we work in.
