2026 World Malaria Day Outreach

NATION FIRST FOUNDATION proudly joined the FCT-MEP and key stakeholders in a successful community outreach at Kado Fish Market Field, Kado-Lifecamp, Abuja — advancing the vision of a malaria-free society.
From powerful advocacy to hands-on health education, the event brought together leaders, partners, and the community in one united effort toward better health outcomes.
🔹 Unity in Action: Leadership, partners, and traditional rulers called for strengthened community vigilance.
🔹 Cultural Engagement: The vibrant Gbagyi cultural troupe delivered life-saving messages through music and dance.
🔹 Expert Insights: Health sessions addressed the “Big Three” — Malaria, HIV, and TB — alongside Neglected Tropical Diseases and environmental health.
🔹 Focused Protection: In-depth awareness on Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC) to safeguard vulnerable groups.
🔹 Practical Support: Free malaria testing, treatment services, and mosquito net demonstrations empowered residents with immediate solutions.

Key Message: Not every fever is malaria — always get tested before treatment.
✅ Malaria testing and treatment remain FREE in all government health facilities.
Together, we are building healthier communities .one outreach at a time.

Significant progress has been made in the fight against malaria, but continued effort is required to sustain these gains and prevent resurgence.
