HYDRO SURVEY POEM
1. Taking our instruments out to the lake to Survey,
2. On a good practical Monday,
3. For some hydrographic survey sake,
4. We all went to UNILORIN water lake,
6. But some hydrographic surveyors were not around,
7. For the First round.
8. Grouping ourselves,
9. Leaving no one else,
10. We rode the Survey vessel on the lake, carrying an echosounder,
11. And a lead rod with its attached transducer,
12. Along some straight lines on the lake, we sounded,
13. Taking the X, Y and Z, we recorded,
14 In order to get the lake's points positions and depths,
15. With these, we are meant,
16. To produce a contour map
17. And a Bathy map,
18. To depict the relief of the bottom of the lake.
