THE NAME OF YAHWEH - ETERNAL SAFE REFUGE

The name of Yahweh is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it and is set securely on high.
Proverbs 18:10 LSB

Apostle Peter pointing out the sure security that the name of LORD is said in respect to healing of the man at the beautiful gate of the temple - "... on the basis of faith in His name, it is the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which is through Him has given him this perfect health in the presence of you all" (Acts 3:16 LSB).

This man was given refuge in the name of Jesus, the name of the LORD, and he was instantly healed.

You remember the cities of refuge built in all regions of Israel meant for safe keeping of those who unintentionally killed another could run to hide in one of these cities of refuge from the avengers of blood. For whatever becomes a threat to your life, you do have the name of the LORD for the refuge, strong and safety for all reasons.

The name of the LORD is strong refuge for the righteous. Jesus has been given by the LORD God for the refuge of His people. Do you recognize that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus? The name of Jesus is the place for you to run to for sure security.

Have faith for your safety in the name of Jesus the Messiah. This security cuts across the entire spheres of life. Run into your safe refuge, calling upon the name of the LORD.

“...'Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'” (Romans 10:13 BSB). That is how to get into the safe refuge, the name of the LORD…

"IT IS THE NAME OF JESUS" - EXERCISING THE AUTHORITY - THE FAITH

And while he was clinging to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them at the portico called Solomon’s, full of wonder. But when Peter saw this, he replied to the people, “Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this, or why do you gaze at us, as if by our own power or piety we had made him walk? … on the basis of faith in His name, it is the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which is through Him has given him this perfect health in the presence of you all.
Acts 3:11‭-‬12‭, ‬16 LSB

The event that took place at the temple by gate called beautiful, brought out good introduction of how to put the faith, the name of Jesus, to work by every believer in all ages. (Our faith is the name of Jesus, yeah, it is in putting the name to work for whatever reason.)

Peter and John, the apostles, had a good and great argument for the use of the name of Jesus. Listen to the apostles' interaction with this man earlier on: "But when Peter, along with John, fixed his gaze on him, he said, “Look at us!” And he began to give them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. But Peter said, “I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—walk!'” (Acts 3:4‭-‬6 LSB). They made the man who was crippled to realize that they had the name of Jesus as a property to give to him which would heal his condition.

Our believing in God is in the fact that we have the name of Jesus. O my God! When we give out this name the authority of God meant for such people that use this name is displayed. Faith in the name of Jesus also means using the name of Jesus as a spiritual substance, a treasure, that may be used in all respects of our life.

One who uses the name of Jesus does not depend on his own power or piety; he depends solely on the name of Jesus. Many times people assume one exercising authority in the name of Jesus has got extra power to depend on. But no, believing God's Word means he has the name of Jesus to give for every situation.

In the boldness of exercise of what God has done, calling on the name of Jesus is a release of the inheritance, the name of Jesus, that works out everything for the believing user of it. Peter was like, take the name of Jesus for this purpose, "Walk."

Be conscious of the great inheritance you have got believing God by the finished work of Jesus. The name is the blessing.

IMMERSION IN THE HOLY SPIRIT, EVERY BELIEVER'S PRIVILEGE

… He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over forty days and speaking about the things concerning the kingdom of God. And gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, “Which,” He said, “you heard of from Me; for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”
Acts 1:3‭-‬5 LSB

The reality of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus was that He kept showing Himself to His disciples for over forty days, and a lot of signs and wonders were wrought also during this same period. He spoke much about the reign of God at which He began to introduce them to what I call the initiation of the Holy Spirit, that is, the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

What you see happening here was the beginning of the countdown to our glory days in eternity, called the last days. The experiencing the Holy Spirit and His moves are activities of the last days. From the time Jesus introduced the disciples to the baptism of the Holy Spirit until the second coming of Jesus is tagged as God's last dealing with man, saving men by His Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth.

Have you been saved by calling on the name of the LORD? Then you are qualified for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. No believer in Christ is exempted from the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

Apostle Peter reiterated what Jesus said on the baptism of the Holy Spirit, saying, "“Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself.'” (Acts 2:38‭-‬39 LSB).

Yes, the promise of the baptism of the Holy Spirit is for as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself. It is wrong to refuse to be baptized in the Holy Ghost.

If the promise lasts the entire last days period then everyone who believes in Christ is candidate of immersion in the Holy Ghost. Call to the LORD for it, to baptize in the Holy Spirit. It's always proved that those baptized in the Holy Spirit begin to speak in unknown tongues, and sometimes prophesy.

It's your right to be immersed in the Holy Ghost. It's the last days experience for believers in Christ. Amen.
