Today’s 17km had a purpose. I ran for my dear friend

She is facing down stage 4 breast cancer for the second time with a courage I can’t even fathom. While I was counting kilometers, she’s counting on treatments, prayers, and support.

Last month, I stood as Philomath University’s Registrar at our matriculation. But this moment? It’s not about the title. It’s about every no that became fuel. Every doubt that grew resilience. Every unseen hour that built a bridge to this day.
