The Oghieaga of Ibvie, HRH Mallam Ali D. Sulayman, has extended felicitations to Muslims across the world on the occasion of Eid-Kabir, describing the celebration as a profound moment of spiritual renewal, sacrifice and gratitude to Almighty Allah.

The revered traditional ruler and 2026 Edo State Amirul-Hajj for the pilgrimage, urged Muslims to uphold the virtues of patience and devotion imbibed during the sacred season, and to reflect these values in their daily conduct.

Speaking from Saudi Arabia in a chat with Subtle MEDIA Network, where he is currently observing the Hajj rites, the royal father offered special prayers for Edo state and Nigeria, seeking divine guidance for peace, unity and sustained progress. He also prayed for leaders at all levels of governance, calling for wisdom, justice and sincerity in the discharge of their responsibilities for the collective good of the nation.

Highlighting the spiritual essence of the pilgrimage, HRH Mallam Ali D. Sulayman, reflected on the symbolic transition from royal regalia to the simplicity of Ihram as a powerful reminder of human equality before Allah. He noted that as the Hajj rites draw to a near conclusion, Muslims are enjoined to remain steadfast in righteousness, gratitude and continued supplication, even after returning to their various communities.
