Mozambique is the only country in the world which sports a firearm on their flag, namely an AK-47 Kalashinkov. It symbolises defence, vigilance and not least the long struggle for freedom and independence. The Mozambican people were occupied by the Portuguese in 1505 and suffered colonialisation for 470 years.

It wasn’t until 1975 that FRELIMO (Frente de Libertação de Moçambique / the Mozambican Liberation Front), under the leadership of Eduardo Mondlane and Samora Machel, managed to defeat the Portuguese army and finally win independence.

STADIUM 974 - Qatar🇶🇦

Located on the shore of the gulf in the east of Doha, near the port Hamad international airport. Stadium 974 was designed by Fenwick Iribarren Architects ( A Spanish architecture firm) The 40,000 capacity stadium is constructed on 450,000 square meter waterfront and is situated on an artificial promontory. Construction began in the year 2018 and completed/opened on 30th November 2021. Stadium 974 is a temporary Venue made from 974 recycled shipping containers. the stadium will host seven matches during the 2022 fifa world cup Qatar.

Okinoshima Island: A small outcrop of the kynshu island which is close to south Korea. It is a sacred site in the Japanese Shinto religion, which insist that no female is allowed to visit the island. Even the male visitors have to strip naked and ritually wash themselves in the waters of the Korean strait before setting foot on it. According to BBC, only 200 visitors per year are allowed to visit the island. The island has been a holy spot for more than 1000 years and host a 17th century shrine at which worshippers can pray for the safe passage of japanese sailors. The island is also listed among the UNESCO world heritage site.

The “Stan" Countries.
The suffix “Stan" is of Indo-European and Indo-Iranian origin.The suffix means “country" or “place off" in Persian. Countries and region bearing this suffix are located mostly throughout Asia, Russia and other areas where Persian Culture has been adopted. The “Stan Countries" include the following; Afghanistan🇦🇫, Kazakhstan🇰🇿, Kyrgyzstan🇰🇬, Pakistan🇵🇰, Tajikistan🇹🇯, Turkmenistan🇹🇲 and Uzbekistan🇺🇿.

The term “Stanistan" is used collectively for all the Stan countries and region. If the Stan counties unite, It would be called STANISTAN and the largest city (probably the capital city) would be Karachi in Pakistan with a population of over 9 million. The country would have a population of over 278 million, making it the 5th most populated country in the world. It would be 5.5 million square kilometers large making it the 7th largest country in size behind Australia. It would have a total of 975,000 active military personnel more than south Korea, France, United kingdom, Germany or Russia.
