Happy New Yam celebration to my dear People of Bakor.

On behalf of my family and the people of Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency, I heartily wish Yache Nation a blessed new yam celebration.

Greetings, esteemed people of Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency.

Today, we mark a significant milestone - one year since I assumed office as your representative in the House of Representatives of the National Assembly. I am deeply grateful to God for His guidance and to you, the electorates, for your trust and confidence in me. I appreciate the support of my party members, leaders, and the entire constituency.

As we celebrate this milestone, I acknowledge my limitations and promise to continue working tirelessly for your well-being. My goal remains to deliver dividends of Democracy, through Law making, Oversight function and Representation, culminating in the development of our Constituency, and the Country at large.

I extend a special thanks to my constituents who put aside their differences after the elections to support our shared vision for a better Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency. Your unity and support mean the world to me.

Today, we launched the pilot phase of our farmer support initiative, disbursing N3 million in grants to 12 selected farmers in Ogoja/Yala federal constituency through the G & S Offiono Foundation. Additionally, we provided agricultural inputs like hand sprayers and herbicides to enhance food production and mitigate the economic downturn's effects. This builds on our previous support for farmers, including mechanized farming training, fertilizer distribution, and cash assistance.

We urge the beneficiaries to utilize these resources effectively to boost food supply. This occasion also marked the unveiling of the G & S Offiono Foundation, which aims to collaborate with stakeholders to address issues in agriculture, education, humanitarian services, security, and peace building. Our Offiono Football Academy, launched earlier, will continue to nurture talents in the sports sector.

We appreciate the support and prayers of our constituency's stakeholders and supporters. We are committed to doing even more to make a positive impact.

"Hon. Godwin Offiono Facilitates Construction of Divisional Police Station and Officers' Quarters

The Member representing Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency, Hon. Godwin Offiono, Esq., has facilitated the construction of a divisional police station, 4- Man Police officers' quarters, and other amenities at Okpoma, Yala LGA, Cross River State. The project also includes:

- A 150mm borehole with an 8,000-liter overhead tank
- A 5.5kVA generating set and generator house
- Linear meter block work fence

The project which is ongoing, upon completion will provide the Yala Divisional Police Headquarters with a permanent, modern police station, officers' quarters, 24-hour power supply, potable water, and other essential amenities to enhance their duties. This is the first time the divisional police station will be moving out of a rented apartment in about 25 years of Yala existence.

Hon. Offiono prioritizes the security and safety of his constituents and has assured continued efforts towards better representation in the constituency. He commended the traditional rulers and host community for their support."

"Borehole Projects in Igede and Mbube Facilitated by Hon. Godwin Offiono, Completed and Ready for Use

Hon. Godwin Offiono, the Member representing Ogoja/Yala federal constituency, has facilitated the construction of boreholes in Igede, Yala 2 constituency in Yala LGA, and Mbube in Ogoja LGA, as part of his efforts to provide clean and portable water for rural dwellers in his constituency.

While some projects are still underway, the Igede and Mbube borehole projects have been completed and are ready for use by the benefiting communities, although an official commissioning ceremony is pending.

As a people-centered lawmaker, Hon. Offiono prioritizes projects that directly impact the lives of his constituents, aiming to alleviate their sufferings and address their pressing needs. Several other impactful projects facilitated by the lawmaker are currently ongoing at various locations within the federal constituency."
