Some of the greatest legacies we can leave for our children are good words carefully wrapped.

Let them realize that no wealth or position can long endure unless built upon truth and justice.

Let them know that the only way they can induce people to serve them is by willingly serving the people.

Let them know that life does not offer something for nothing. The only way they can get something out of anything is to honestly work for it.

Let them know that there's no short cut to anything worthwhile and that those who break boundaries are those that worked hard and outgrown the limits.

Let them know that the way to happiness is to try as much to eliminate envy, hatred, jealousy, selfishness, and cynicism, and these can be achieved by developing love for humanity.

Let them know that nobody can achieve their dream or become effective without treating others with respect, and the best respect is self-respect.

It is better to help your children develop good habits earlier than force them out of bad habits later.

It is better to occasionally share your experiences with your children and make them understand what life is all about.

Finally, it is not what you do for your children but what you teach them to do for themselves that makes them become better humans.

Never be afraid to break boundaries to follow your cause. Believe that you're created for it. Believe in your capability to make it real.

If you know that what you're doing is right, Go ahead and do it. You don't need their consent. It's your dream, not theirs.

Put everything required of you to make it real. Average effort does not equal average results. Average effort equals no result. You may meet with temporary defeat, but know that some defeats are more triumphant than victory. It may take longer to make it real, but know that only with persistence can an average person become a superior mind. Do not let failure define your limits. Failure is part of experience on your way to significance.

WHY YOU SHOULD NOT BE AFRAID OF CRITICISM

The fear of criticism paralyzes the mind, destroys advancement, robs man of initiative, discourages the use of imagination, and limits people in different ways that cannot be listed because of the shortness of this article.

The fear of criticism is why people can't stand alone, stand out, speak out, or condemn harmful practices or injustice in societies.

Most people cannot do away with beliefs despite finding errors in them because of fear of criticism. Some cannot break away or keep away from a close circle because of fear of criticism. The fear of failure and criticism prevents people from taking the first step or keeping on moving.

Manufacturers capitalize on human nature on fear of criticism by rolling out new versions of their products each season, partly because consumers would rather follow up with new versions than maintain old ones due to fear of criticism, thereby making consumers living at the mercy of producers.

A person whose mind is full of fear will end up destroying his chances of taking intelligent actions.

To overcome the fear of criticism, do not expect perfection because no one is perfect. Do not take things personally. Pick the positives from every situation.

Know that anything worth doing attracts admiration and criticism.
Expect criticism once you begin to stand out. Seek improvement, not approval. Focus on progress.
