Let us be honest for a moment. Some people’s problems are not caused by witches, enemies, the government, or village people.

They are carefully prepared by their own hands, wrapped in bad decisions, and delivered by their own choices.

Yet, when the consequences arrive, they suddenly become very spiritual and very political.

No job, and it is, “The government has failed us.” But you were the same person who rejected a small-paying job because it was “beneath you.”

You chose quick money over steady growth. You preferred shortcuts to patience. Now things are hard, and everybody else is to blame.

Business collapsed, and it is, “Village people are after me.” But we all saw how you used your capital to buy the latest iPhone, wig, and clothes just to impress people who won’t pay your bills.

You invested in appearance instead of stability, and now you are shouting attack.

Relationship ended, and it is, “My enemies are at work.” However, you will not discuss how you ignored red flags, disrespected boundaries, and acted recklessly.

You will not mention your lack of patience, humility, and self-control. Somehow, somebody else is always responsible.

And then there is the classic excuse: “It’s the devil.”

At this point, even the devil is probably confused. He is likely looking at you and saying, “Oga, this one no concern me o.”

The truth is simple. If every problem in your life is somebody else’s fault, then you are your own biggest problem.

To be honest with you, growth does not begin when you shout louder in prayer. It begins when you are brave enough to look in the mirror and say, “I caused this. And by God’s grace, I can fix it.”

Will it be easy? No. Because nobody enjoys admitting mistakes. Nobody likes accepting responsibility. It is more comfortable to blame people, systems, and spirits. But comfort has never produced greatness.

Instead of always asking, “Why me?” ask yourself, “What must I change?” Instead of saying, “Who did this to me?” ask, “What did I allow? What did I choose? What did I ignore?”

My dear, leave the government, village people, and demons alone for now.

Face your habits.

Face your decisions.

Face your patterns.

Build discipline.

Make wiser choices.

Grow intentionally.

Life does not respect noise. It respects growth.

When you take responsibility, your story begins to change.

Be informed. Be inspired. Be transformed.
