Do you know there is an abandoned seaport in Enugu ?

This is an abandoned seaport in Uzouwuani Enugu state called Ogurugu seaport built and commissioned in 1978.

This abandoned seaport, after some work had been done there was built for cargo ships that were loading and offloading agricultural produce there.
This abandoned seaport was from where colonialists entered northern Igboland and where the entire Igbo nation in this side of the world traded their goods and transported their agricultural produce to the outside world.

In this abandoned seaport one can see the debris of what is left of the commercial bank used by colonialists and Igbo traders at the port for transactions in Ogurugu seaport Enugu .
