Regional cooperation is key to safeguarding our shared marine resources.
Through our longstanding partnership with the Benguela Current Convention - BCC Secretariat, UNDP Namibia is supporting stronger ocean governance, sustainable fisheries, marine conservation and climate resilience across the Benguela Current Large Marine Ecosystem.
Together, we are advancing marine spatial planning, strengthening scientific capacity and supporting efforts to combat Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated (IUU) fishing, helping to secure livelihoods, food security and a thriving blue economy for present and future generations.
