Dear Wimpy

Thank you for sharing you Invoice with Total Tools via What’s app on Friday. This is all we wanted to assist you. It was not the fact that you went on Facebook but that you provided us with the information we requested. As simple as that.

We know that this annoyed you and we do understand, as we are also customers of other retailers. Unfortunately, this is how it works everywhere.

If you buy anything from any retailer in the world and you have a warranty claim, want to buy parts or need to have your product repaired you need to provide an invoice, a product number and serial, so they can make sure that the parts are correct to the model and year model, similar to a vin number of a vehicle.

You bought your generator in 2023, since then there has been a lot of changes in the spare parts and models of the generators. At this moment we have +/- 37500 parts in stock and we invite anybody to come and see these parts at our Prosperita Service and Repair Centre. Our success ratio for supplying parts and doing repairs at this point and time is over 90% and this is only possible because we are provided with invoices for model numbers and serial numbers. We would like to thank our customers that are assisting us by understanding and providing us with the correct information need. Without them this will not be possible.

This was all we needed to assist you, and to make sure that we provide you with the correct part. Judging from your post on Facebook and how furious you were when we asked for an invoice and a serial number, we can just imagine how furious you would have been if you got the incorrect part.
We have terms and condition for all sales, warranty and repairs procedures on the reverse side of our invoices, and we do invite customer to read this. It is also available on our website www.totaltools.com.na
Total Tools Namibia will always ask for an invoice so that we can check the correct model and serial number to make sure we supply the correct part, this is standard procedures.

Total Tools Namibia would also like to request that you stop insulting our salespersons. Please stop using foul language in your posts toward the salespersons at Total Tools Namibia, they have only tried to help you from the start and do not deserve this.
