IF YOU EVER THINK YOU ARE UNDER-PAID IN YOUR JOB READ THIS ...........

My opinion is you are being paid fairly. Here's my reasoning. You are paid in two ways.

1. Exposure & experience

2. Cash & benefits.

I am convinced over 90% of your compensation for your work is in Exposure & Experience. The salary you are paid disappears. Sometimes even before you get paid. But the exposure & experience are things which stay with you. Actually, you have become a better you because of the two.

In your job you are being exposed to relationships you could not have accessed by yourself. World-class business practices. Modern technology. Business processes & systems, corporate governance, compliance & many more. Have you ever thought about it that way? With the number of years you have been working, you have become a worthwhile resource to the organisation. But the big beneficiary is you.

But here is the catch. I see many executives, after having left employment, cannot run a simple business. Like a fleet of 3 trucks. A grocery shop. A restaurant. Imagine someone who has been running a big operation, eg in a bank, & they can't run a simple restaurant.

The answer is simple. Live your life. Quickest way is to find your Passion. It wont let you down. Because its what you do easily. With no effort. Imagine you can still do it. With money or no money. Job or no job.

THE BEST WAY TO DEAL WITH PROCRASTINATION.

We’ve all experienced it, but a few of us really change!

We know we NEED to eliminate it. If we are to achieve more and be successful. But still we do not do it.

What is it?

PROCRASTINATION! The opposite of decision.

At one time or another you have thought of starting or doing something. But never did.

Procrastination is one of the most addictive cancers of any entrepreneur or leader.

Why is so? I am glad you asked.

The answer is simple. It’s a habit. A habit of how to make decisions.

Before I go ahead with what I want to tell you, let me share a little something…..

It took me 10 years to decide to leave my job. I loved my career but have always wanted to do something more fulfilling. Something beyond. Something significant. Something with a legacy signature.

Anywhere, I finally left my job in January 2018. To be a full-time business Coach.

Why the delay?

Because I was afraid. Afraid of my family, friends and relatives.

I was afraid of what they will say. That they will not support me. That they will ridicule me. That they will laugh at me. That they will let me suffer. That they will ignore me. I was really afraid. Very afraid.

Actually, I am in that space right now. Most of those things are happening with my friends and relatives. As you read this.

But what has it to do with you? Everything!

One thing I discovered as I researched and engaged with successful people is how they make decisions.

Highly successful leaders (and entrepreneurs) make decisions quickly and are slow to change them. The masses take decisions slowly and change them quickly if not frequently!

The majority of people who fail to achieve their goals are influenced by the opinion of others.

They are worried about what people think. What people will say. What people will make of them.

If you are influenced by other people’s opinions, you will never achieve anything worthy.

I know of people who hold PHDs in “Start & Stop.” They think of a business and never start. Just like an athlete remaining static after the “get set GO!”

Friends and relatives want you mediocre. They are not used to your “new’ you. A successful you. Moreso transformed. They will make sure you come back where they feel you belong. Where they are!

But they are not malicious. They are just ignorant. They don’t know that it affects your confidence. They don’t know your desires. They don’t know where you are going. They mean well but ignorant. Their opinions are just opinions.

So why am I talking about this?

Because it’s just one of those days I am feeling good.

You know what?

I have never been happier in my life.

I am doing what I love doing. Helping you and others make decisions quickly. Helping you make the first step. Helping you achieve your goals. Helping you to get that promotion. Helping your business grow. etc.

How do I do that? The answer is simple.

I simply let you draw from within. Within you. Draw from your inert potential. You have all the answers. Only you, you only, know your DESIRES.

So, if you really desire to achieve more ………..

Make that decision quickly. Make it now.

Start from where you are. The right time is NOW! Start with something. No matter how small.

And keep you mouth shut. Less talk. More ACTION!
