Arrogance: we all have it to some degree - including myself.

We show this trait everyday, even in minute, subconscious ways. Our mentality often suggests that the rest of the natural world must evolve around us; that we are superior to other animal and plant species - its just part of who we are as a species...it can be harmless in a lot of scenarios - maybe useful in some - but in the world of conservation, it is the single aspect of our species that makes it arguably the most dangerous to walk the planet. Our future and the future of generations still to come is in our hands...right now...right here. Our intelligence, skill and technological advancements make us different to other species...so we need to use these traits in a positive, effective and sustainable manner...

We can either 'EVOLVE OR REPEAT'... and we make this choice every single day... I can only ask, as a citizen of the future, that you choose wisely.
