We at MIT Academy are absolutely thrilled to share a monumental occasion witnessed firsthand by our very own CEO, Mr. Anthony Ng, during the historic ASEAN Summit 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!
A Historic Milestone: Welcome, Timor-Leste! 🇹🇱
The absolute highlight of the Summit was the formal admission of Timor-Leste as the 11th Member State of ASEAN—a long-awaited dream that now completes our regional family.
To commemorate this wonderful and historic moment for ASEAN and Timor-Leste, Mr. Anthony Ng had the immense honour of taking a photograph with His Excellency Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão, the Prime Minister of Timor-Leste, who was present for the signing of the accession declaration.

This achievement holds special significance as it occurred under the Chairmanship of Malaysia.
