Her project, “Novel Split-P TPMS Lattice Bed Contactor Design for Enhanced CO₂ Capture Efficiency in Direct Air Capture (DAC) System)”, showcases innovative design for more effective and sustainable carbon capture solutions.

UiTM has successfully completed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB). The ceremony took place at Akademi KTM, Batu Gajah, Perak, represented by the Director of BITCOM UiTM, Prof. Dr. Haswira Nor Mohamad Hashim.

Led by Assoc. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Renga Rao A/L Krishnamoorthy, this MoU enhances cooperation in rail-focused research, talent development and knowledge exchange. As Malaysia’s key rail service provider, KTMB plays a vital role in advancing the nation’s mobility ecosystem.

Congratulations to Ir. Ts. Gs. Dr. Mohamad Farid Misnan, Head of Unit 5 (Robotics, IoT and Big Data Analytics), SMRI, and his team for winning the Anugerah Khas Emas at the Pertandingan Inovasi Teknousahawan Electric Mobile Vehicle (E-MOVE) 2025, held at The Katerina Hotel, Batu Pahat, Johor!

Their project, Remote – Unmanned Ground Vehicle (R-UGV) for Agricultural Plantation Monitoring & Management, showcased an innovative and sustainable mobility solution designed to support smallholders and rural communities, equipped with environmental sensors and a remote-control system.
