Check out this shot of the Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Bridge , which connects Penang Island, Malaysia, to the mainland of Malay peninsula (West Malaysia).

The total length of the bridge is 15 miles (24 km), making it the longest in the country and in second in Southeast Asia. In November, the bridge is closed to traffic for several hours to host the Penang Bridge International Marathon, the longest bridge marathon in the world.

Crossing 7,000 Acre Freshwater Lake via Malaysia's Medium-High Speed Train.

Surrounded by lush greenery and fronting one of Malaysia's largest 7,000-acre freshwater lake, Bukit Merah is a town in Perak state, and is only a 3 hours' drive from Kuala Lumpur and easily reached just off the Bukit Merah toll exit (Exit 150) along the North-South Expressway.

Popular with its nature tourism, Bukit Merah Laketown Resort is also one of the attraction here, where it is an eco-tourism complex that features a water park, eco park and orangutan rehabilitation facility. If you want to explore the northern part of Peninsular Malaysia via medium high speed train, you can always take the KTM ETS train service.
