𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗮

A desperate lady👩 came to Hope Place Kuching recently, requesting assistance for her comatose son. He has brain tuberculosis and is currently staying at Simunjan with his mother and younger sister.

It all started last December, when he complained of feeling weaker and weaker every day, as well as difficulty breathing. His friend, who is a medical assistant in Miri, brought him to Kuching to seek medical help🏥.

Sadly, just two days after he arrived in Kuching, he fell into a coma. Doctors diagnosed him with brain tuberculosis🧠 and hepatitis B. He was admitted to the hospital for two months. Now, he is staying with his mother and younger sister at their family home in Simunjan.

The family is now struggling with expenses. Due to tube feeding, he consumes special milk supplements as his only sustenance. He also uses adult diapers😔.

His sister and mother are not working, their main income comes from the monthly social welfare aid of RM500. Currently, they are trying to apply for SOCSO as well. Hope Place is supporting he with supplies of special milk powder, ripple mattress, and adult diapers📦💕.

男子不幸陷入昏迷

一位母亲👩前往古晋希望之家求助，希望为其处于昏迷状态的儿子寻求物资援助。男子不幸患上脑结核病，目前在Simunjan的家中养病，与母亲及妹妹相依为命。

这一切始于去年12月，当时该男子开始感到身体每况愈下，且伴有呼吸困难。直到他一位在美里担任医疗助理的朋友察觉异样，意识到事态严重，才执意将他带到古晋求医🏥。

在抵达古晋仅仅两天后，他便陷入了深度昏迷。经医生确诊，他同时患有脑结核病🧠与乙型肝炎。在随后的两个月住院期间。如今，至今仍昏迷不醒的他已被接回Simunjan的家中。

沉重的开销让这个本就脆弱的家庭陷入了经济绝境。由于只能依靠鼻胃管喂食，特殊营养奶粉成为了他唯一的食物来源，成人纸尿裤也是一笔持续性的消耗品开支😔。

在母亲和妹妹均没有工作能力的情况下，全家目前仅依靠社会福利局每月发放的500令吉援助金勉强维持生计。目前，他们正尝试向大马社险机构（SOCSO）提交申请。古晋希望之家正为他提供特殊奶粉、医疗气垫床以及成人纸尿裤等物资援助📦💕。

𝗝𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁

A mother of five👩, sought assistance from Hope Place Kuching recently. She who resides at Stampin Baru with her children, does not have a stable job to support her family.

Three of her children is schooling, while her 2 twins are at home with her. This is the main reason why she does not have a full-time job. She used to open a burger stall in front of her house. However, due to stiff competition in numerous stalls, including several burger stalls🍔 at Stampin Baru, she had to shut down her business.

Her home is also in a very poor state. Her kitchen only has an old plywood as flooring and there is no ceiling to separate the roof and the walls. Her only bathroom is made of old plywood loosely joined together, with large gaps in several areas. Furthermore, all six of them sleep in a tiny bedroom.🏚️

Although lack in many home comforts, she is ‘bersyukur’ in able to receive children’s financial assistance from the social welfare department of RM1,000 per month. Hope Place is supporting the family with basic food aid📦💕🥫.

育有五子的母亲获得援助

一名育有五名子女的母亲👩最近向古晋希望之家寻求协助。她与孩子们居住在Stampin Baru，目前没有稳定的工作来养家庭。

她的孩子三名都在读书，而两个双胞胎在家里由她照顾。这也是她无法从事全职工作的主要原因。她曾经在屋前经营一个汉堡摊🍔，但由于面临同业的激烈竞争，她不得不结束营业。

她的家境非常贫寒。厨房仅用陈旧的胶合板铺成地板，而且没有天花板来隔开屋顶与墙壁。家里唯一的浴室也是用旧胶合板松散地拼接而成，多处留有大缝隙。不仅如此，他们母子六人每天晚上都不得不挤在同一间狭小的卧室里入睡🏚️。

虽然缺乏许多家居舒适感，但她每月能获得社会福利局发放的一千令吉儿童财政资助感到十分“感恩”。希望之家正为该家庭提供基本的生活食品援助📦💕🥫。
