IS THERE A GOLD RALLY IN 2024???

Gold price drop more then 2% per oz in US market yesterday and we can see the drop continues in Asian market this morning.

Why?

1) over bought- thinking FED will reduce interest rate in June but data eg payroll, cpi and ppi is not as expected( higher than expected). This data’s have got FED to announce, they are not in urgent to reduce interest rate for now.

2) USD and Bond yield is on the rise, which negative for gold.

3) high tension on geopolitical issues between Iran and Israel ease.

All the above have hot gold price to drop, especially on FED’s decision to maintain the interest rate at this level ( 5.25% to 5.5%) for now.

Market is looking at alternative as gold don’t gives you yield.

However the gold price is still above USD 2300 per oz for now.

How we look at this situation?

OPPORTUNITY

1)Drop in price have created for us to buy at a lower price

2) FED cannot maintain the interest rate at this level for ever as it’s already creating impact for new borrowing and high repayments that is affecting big businesses.

3)new employment data which is on the rise in US is said to be filled in by immigrants.

4) FED will have to bring down the inflation to 2% as they promised. For this they have to create economic slow down by increasing interest rates rate’s which is not working as plan.

So what can we aspect is
1) economic crisis
2) lay offs
3) banks will be impacted
4) lower USD and yield
5) geopolitics issues ,sanctions etc.

All the above will give good reasons to create a GOLD RALLY.

So if you have extra cash and holding power.. DO NOT HESITATE TO BUY GOLD.

Macam mana cara nak baca price ni?

Semua harga ni DAH TERMASUK MARK UP iaitu 3 - 7%

GSA - 7%
G*E 5 - 4%
G*E 10 - 3%

Mark up dari harga lantai iaitu LME Price. Harga lantai adalah harga modal iaitu harga emas dunia lah.

LME + mark up = itu harga kita beli.

Mark up yang kedai emas kenakan 25-30% dari LME price ye, sebab tu emas perhiasan tak sesuai utk jadi pelaburan. Emas tetap ada harga, tapi kalau nak rasa untung tu ambil masa lagi lama dari gold bar/dinar.

Mark up/spread QM teramat rendah, maka ia membolehkan kita dapat untung emas lebih cepat dari syarikat emas lain.

Boleh tengok harga pada 9/10/2023 ( USD 59.56 ) vs 25/2/2024 ( USD 65.47 )
