Two things I never planned on:

I never planned to be a baker. 

Certainly Didn’t expect things to move this fast.

I started baking from home during MCO — just to stay sane, honestly. I was an electrician before all this. 

Imagine that ..didn’t  even know how to laminate dough properly.

But people started ordering. Word got around. Did my best to keep up with demand.

By 2022, I opened my first café — Bread & Co, inside Sheraton Hotel. Then came the second outlet. Then events. Catering. Bulk orders. Collaborations.
It was exciting. But also — overwhelming.

I had pastries in the oven, staff calling about stock, and 200 unread WhatsApps about payments. My phone became the POS system, the HR department, and the accountant.

Most of our customers paid with QR — Malaysians love their QR pay. It’s fast, easy, no fuss. But all those payments were going into one single account. No labels. No tracking. No way to know if yesterday’s spike came from Sheraton, EXIM, or Grab.

I was growing fast, but blind.

Then I found a way to track every payment in real time — down to the minute.

And just like that, with the  finance matters more organised .. or at least less messy, I start feeling more in control  again.

Sometimes, you don’t need a big solution. Just the right one, at the right moment.

Now I’m not just making pastries. I’m building a real business. With clarity, not chaos.
