About Our Senses
Our Senses is a long-term art project by Choco that explores the human senses—sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell—through sensorial experiences. Initiated in 2014, the project takes an experimental-first approach, delving into both individual and combined sensory elements.

It unfolds in multiple phases, with the current stage being Phase 2, primarily focusing on the elements of sound and visual, with color as a sub-component that serves as a starting point for the audience to activate their senses.

lore night story day is an immersive, cinematic exploration of time and memory by Malaysian sound artist Flica (Euseng Seto). Moving away from the intricate structures of his earlier work, this 16-track collection finds Seto embracing a deeply organic, "near-field" sound. It is an album defined by profound warmth—a place where the resonant strike of a piano key and the soft hum of analog synthesizers create a gentle sanctuary for the wandering mind. This record is not merely a collection of songs but a meticulously structured journey through four thematic movements, guiding the listener through a full cycle of light and reflection.

The journey begins with Lore, a sequence that feels like a slow awakening into a world of ancient history. Tracks like fledge and unveil utilize sparse, lingering piano melodies to evoke a sense of quiet discovery and origin. As the light fades, the album retreats into the protective stillness of Night. Rather than being cold or dark, pieces such as chrysanthemum and waken offer a velvet-like warmth, using deep synthesizers to mimic the safety and solitude of the late hours.

As the cycle continues, Story introduces a more narrative and conversational tone. Here, the music feels like a personal journey, with tracks like departure weaving together acoustic fragments that suggest a collection of memories finally finding their voice. This leads into the final movement, Day, which emerges into a vibrant, golden clarity. The album culminates in the standout track berakhir bermula featuring the folk artist Bayangan, where the addition of human vocals brings the instrumental journey to a hopeful, sun-drenched close. Recorded with a focus on natural resonance and emotional intimacy, lore night story day is a "wood-and-wire" creation that invites the listener to slow down and rediscover the beauty in the transitions of life.
