‘langlang’ is a brief but remarkably dense EP, finding Joni Mustaf at his most exploratory and introspective.

Across its compact runtime, the record weaves together lo-fi rock textures, bursts of noise, folk-inflected melodies, and a loose improvisational spirit, creating music that feels both spontaneous and carefully considered.

The title, drawn from an old Malay word meaning “traveller,” serves as an apt guiding metaphor: these songs seem constantly in transit, drifting between genres, moods, and states of mind. Beneath the rough-edged experimentation lies a reflective core, as Mustaf meditates on movement not only as a physical act but also as an emotional and spiritual condition.

The result is an EP that rewards close listening, balancing restless sonic curiosity with a quietly resonant sense of purpose.
