A sneak preview of our introduction to "Oasis" concept design for a new working environment for the Wisma IJM Headquarters.

We wanting to create a truly immersive 'oasis' experience! By bringing nature and sound into the new working environment in a sensational way. We want the atmosphere of being in a forest canopy, adding a unique and organic touch to the space. Perhaps we even patterned the ceiling artificial lighting that mimics the starry sky yet to further enhance a second space dimension and support the growth of plants. Most importantly, greenery can contribute to the acoustic comfort, contribute to thermal comfort by moderating indoor temperatures and improving air quality. All in all, our focus is at productivity and well-being but also reflects a sustainable and inviting environment.

p/s we have lost this project but at least to a friend😂

A minimalistic wellness space with a focus on yoga and meditation in the sky ( Level 28 ) sits right at the golden triangle of Kuala Lumpur, to creating a serene and tranquil environment like an 'out-of-city' ambient.

We emphasize the use of natural materials, to furnish the entire space with chosen light-toned timber and stone for a minimalist and earthy aesthetic. Consider exposed ceiling with services for a touch of architectural tectonics elegance.

The interior opts for a soft cream color palette for the walls, ceiling, floor and furniture. This neutral backdrop enhances the sense of calmness and pairs well with the natural soft and hard materials, creating a cohesive and soothing environment.

The open space with full-height glazed windows maximizes the panoramic views of the mountains of Malaysia, viewing towards the renowned Genting Highlands. This not only connects people with the natural surroundings but also allows ample natural light to fill up the space. In return, participants can have a positive impact on their overall well-being and energy levels.

Also, we integrate indoor plants strategically to bring a touch of nature indoors. Consider placing potted plants near windows and incorporating greenery into the overall design. They not only enhance aesthetics but also contribute into air purification.

By combining these elements, we created a minimalistic wellness space that offers a serene and uplifting experience, allowing people to disconnect from the city below and immerse themselves in a peaceful and rejuvenating environment.

Michael Teh Gallery creates a central focal point within the space, the prominent artwork is being highlighted in the center. This serves as a visual anchor and guide visitors through the gallery very easily. The center of space with the envelope of freestanding walls serves multiple functions during different occasions from private dining, seating, viewing, to private launching.

Take advantage of the natural light sources, the large windows enhance the viewing experience and provide a sense of man-made and nature connection with the surrounding environment.

This open plan layout offers versatility and adaptability, walls to create separate areas for different art exhibits and to accommodate varying sizes of artwork. This will allow for easy reconfiguration of the space as needed. Lastly, of course, the layout encourages every visitors to move around the space in a fluid and intuitive manner.
