🔔【Important Announcement】New BGK Regulation at Port Klang

📦⚖️ Combined Vehicle Weight (BGK) Restriction

Effective 1st July 2025, Port Klang will implement a new policy to enhance road safety and port efficiency, with full enforcement starting 1st January 2026.

🚛 BGK (Combined Vehicle Weight) Formula:
BTM Prime Mover + BTM Trailer + VGM Container

📌 Consequences of Exceeding BGK Limit:

📥 Import:
Back-to-back container bookings will be auto-rejected

📤 Export:
Upon 3 violations per month, hauliers will be restricted from back-to-back bookings

🚫 Laden Back-to-Back Side Loaders are not allowed for both import & export.

✅ Single container transport (20'/40') is still allowed under existing procedures.

📅 Kindly plan ahead to ensure smooth operations and avoid disruptions.
