FRIM PCS was established in 2013 to play the role of FRIM as a product certification body. FRIM was accredited by the Department of Standards Malaysia on 12th December 2014 as the eight product certification body in Malaysia fulfilling the requirements of ISO/IEC 17065: 2012 (Conformity Assessment – Requirements for Bodies Certifying Products, Process and Services).
