Tartar Tuna

Tuna mayo has always been a classic in school lunchboxes. Every bite takes me back to those carefree school days — running across the field, endless chitchat, and leaning on the railing, secretly watching my crush reading in the building across.

This time, we wanted to give the humble tuna sandwich a grown-up twist. Brighter, with more layers of flavor, and a little surprise hidden in every bite.

Inspired by Mediterranean tartar sauce, we made our favorite tuna sandwich yet 🐟🍅🍋

Chimichurri Steak — made with lean Australian beef, our homemade chimichurri, a perfect duo of caramelized and fresh onions, melty mozzarella, vintage cheddar, and a smoky mayo to level it all up.

A little heads-up: some bites might be slightly chewy due to natural bone fibres in the cut — but rest assured, it’s perfectly safe (and delicious).

Packed with protein and bursting with flavour, NGL this is my current No.1 sandwich 🏆

The UMAMI in the world of plants 🍄‍🟫

Truffle Shroom — herby sautéed wild mushrooms, white truffle oil, a generous layer of mozzarella, corals & arugula, finished with a touch of truffle paste.

The bold, gassy flavour of truffle hits hard, and is totally addictive. Can’t help but crave a second sandwich right after the last bite.

It’s been awhile since our post, and we really miss y’all🫶🏻 a short recent life updates: we still making sandwiches at McKenzie, occasionally change the sandwich plating (iykyk🙈), finding ways to make sandwich better & better, trying out new recipes for future📝
